A. Oforiwa Idawa is an African-centered, home-based business owner and a mom who homeschooled her child from birth to college. She is the founder of Idawa Management.

 

For over fifteen years, she has created online presences for Black-owned, African-centered businesses and organizations. Ama has assisted many Black-owned businesses and organizations launch their websites, online courses, email campaigns, special events, and workshops. She is one of the founding organizers of Sankofa Homeschooling Community coop and assisted with organizing Sacred Circle Healing events of the African Traditional Spiritual Coalition, based in the Washington, DC area.​ In addition, she has organized and produced a health and spiritual wellness expo.

Oforiwa graduated with a degree in Black Studies, from the City College of New York and minored in Business Administration. She took some MBA graduate level courses. Oforiwa has been a website designer and events managing consultant, as well as a virtual assistant, for over fifteen years.
